Abstract

Education is a need that cannot be separated from various needs in everyday life. This is in line with increasing public awareness of the importance of education itself. This writing discusses the syntactic language development of children aged 5-6 years. This research was created with the aim of (1) To find out the application of storytelling methods using picture story books as media.
(2) To determine the language abilities of children aged 5-6 years at RA Nurul Fauziah. (3) To find out what factors support and inhibit the application of the storytelling method. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that, from a total of 14 children then a sample of 5 children was taken, resulting in the syntactic language abilities of children aged 5-6 at RA Nurul Fauziyah
developing as expected.
