Zakat maal is one of the essential instruments in Islamic economics, functioning to distribute wealth from those who are capable to those in need. However, public awareness in fulfilling zakat maal obligations remains relatively low in some regions. This research aims to identify effective strategies for increasing public awareness of zakat maal. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results of the study indicate that the most effective strategies include a continuous religious education approach, the use of social media as an information platform, and collaboration with zakat management institutions. The findings of this research provide strategic recommendations for the government and zakat institutions in optimizing the potential of zakat maal for the welfare of the community.
